PETER’S TAKE: This is an incredible deal. While I’m generally not a fan of subscriptions for sample libraries, plugins, and DAWS, EastWest has a deep well of excellent quality sample libraries that make this offer very compelling. However, just like every other software subscription, developers often lure buyers in for the first year at a substantial discount and renew at a substantially higher rate. Comparing this to Musio’s current promo of $149 for the first year that renews at $199, this has a first year promo rate of $99 and renews at $239.88. That’s important to keep in mind when comparing the different services.

EastWest are so cheap now-a-days. In my mind a subscription for them doesn’t make much sense. The major cost will be the SSDs you need to house all the samples.
