I maintain a list of my picks for the best Kontakt sample libraries and created this thread as a companion to it where the community can share their links to their favorite free sample libraries for Kontakt (full / paid version) and Kontakt Player. So please share your personal picks for great sample libraries that you’ve used and can recommend to others.

@Peter, hi! I checked the list again. Thank you for your continuous effort!
1. “Westwood Instruments Alt Piano Lite” seems to be no longer available now.
2. “Tatak Muted Felt Piano” is duplicated.
3. “Embertone Arcane” seems to be deleted by Embertone.
4. The link of “Beautiful Void Audio: Deep Conjuring 2 Free” changed. https://www.beautifulvoidaudio.com/p/deep-conjuring-ii-freebie-kontakt-622/
5. The individual links of Klang series are put together. https://cinematique-instruments.com/collection/collection_klang.php
6. Klang: Neon Buzz is now for €5, not for free. The others of Klangs in the list are still for free.
7. I can’t find the free version of “Cinematique Instruments: Mociula”. https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/3306-Mociula-Lab
The below listings were already mentioned to you, but I raise again. I’m sorry if you feel annoyed.
1. (optional) The individual link of “Mute” is here. https://www.audioollie.com/sample-libraries/p/mute-1
2. (very trifling)The link of “Strummed Mountain Dulcimer” seems to repeat.
3. “PRISM Drums Lite Edition” is now only samples, not including Kontakt files. (I confirmed by download.)
4.“Woven Strings” is also an expired Jon Meyer’s great work. Unfortunately, there is no substitute even as a plugin.
5. “Snaps, Claps, Stomps and Shouts” link is working now by redirecting, but I’d recommend replacing the link. https://impactsoundworks.com/product/snaps-claps-slaps-stomps-shouts
6. “Peter Flint: Dictaphone Loop Synth” is no longer available. I can’t find an alternative link.
@galacov Thanks so much for doing taking the time to do all of that! It’s greatly appreciated. If you noticed, at the bottom of the list, I credit you for helping maintain the page. I know that soooo many similar lists aren’t updated, and keeping this list updated, makes it a much better experience for our community. And from my checks, the list remains the most extensive curated list of free Kontakt libraries on the web. In fact, even though this site is less than a year old, and it takes quite a while for a site to appear in top rankings at Google, it just broke the top 20 for searches on “free kontakt instruments” and is also doing well in AI searches. It’s one of the top 5 most popular pages on this site and people spend around 4 1/2 minutes on the page on average, so it’s clearly serving its purpose.
II’ll update the page today or tomorrow. When a library is no longer available, I make note of it on the list instead of removing it, in case it reappears at some point. I also want to send people a message not to delay picking up these freebies, as they can easily be removed at any point. For example, I absolutely love the 8Dio Plucked Piano library that was free but is now back at $98 USD. I didn’t know if 8Dio planned to keep it always free or temporarily made it free. I try to only put permanently free libraries on the list, but I wasn’t sure about that one and I thought it was so good, I added it. Hopefully, it will go back to free at some point and I’ll update the listing.

@galacov I just went through your list and did everything you recommended. And to your writing, “sorry if I feel annoyed” because you mentioned something before — nothing could be farther from how I feel about your helping out. I have nothing but gratitude for you how you’ve helped make this list and this site more useful for people. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
That’s why I put your name on the page, because I wanted to give credit to you, because you’ve made this list better and that’s very important. If I missed some of your recommendations last time (or this time), it wasn’t because I meant to. The page had some hiccups when I was working on it and it probably didn’t save the last version of changes I made. Everything you’ve suggested is spot on — excellent, helpful and thorough — and I intended to implement all of it, as I’ve done this time.
