PETER’S TAKE: I own the first version and it’s excellent. Of course, like most of our members, I almost never buy anything that isn’t on sale, so I’m just looking at this as something I’m almost certain to pick up in the future.

Oh, man. So many controls. So many options. This may slow me down, not speed up my workflow.
Studio One, Windows, RME UFX, Yamaha MSP7
For me I try to put my mind into the mindset like when recording in a real studio situation for similar types of ITB situations. Basically if I can try (key word right there) to think along the lines of what I’m trying to achieve sonically rather than what among the thousands of options available placing instruments/people in which rooms which gobos/dampening/etc (or not) etc etc etc should I experiment with, it tends to work out better. Of course there’s acceptance of failure when it comes to having a specific vision or sound in your mind and it just doesn’t work the way you thought it might but that just means you try one other thing rather than a thousand little things, end up getting fatigued (literally and also ear fatigue) and all the other creativity-crushing things that can happen during a session.
I represent IK Multimedia so I will post official things. I also may just post random things as a real human being because I also represent one of those. I will try to be clear when I'm just speaking as Peter, instead of "Peter from IK".
I make no promises to be 100% accurate in doing so, though. 🙂
@peter-ik I saw that Dave Kerzner posted that he has used the Sunset Studios reverb plugin on basically everything he’s released for some time. Of course, I know Dave is strongly involved with IK — his brother is a VP, right? But still, it was a cool little fact, and from using the first version myself, it sounds fantastic. I have four favorite famous studio reverbs, Sunset Studios, UAD Sound City, UAD Capitol Studios, and UAD Hitsville. Every one of those plugins are fantastic to the point that every time I use them, I’m inspired. Yeah, I’m mentioning the competition, but IMO, these are the best reverb plugins I’ve ever used.
