I actually guessed it correctly but wasn’t let in due to my not capitalizing the first letter. That’s annoying. Glad I continued to read down for the tip! (I do feel badly for non-native English speakers, but it is a fun way to add something to a freebie.)

Not bad (if you like this kind of thing) reminds me of a Ohmicide, but with less settings.

I guess Ohmicide is the distortion plugin that started it all. Got it in EastWest’s libraries back in the day.

It’s interesting how the plugin devs (and consumers) seem to get Obsessed with a certain style of plugin for awhile, then move on to the next. It was vintage compressors for a long time, then reverbs, then saturation, then tape emulations and various other sorts of distortion. I wonder what will be next? 🤔

Pft. Kids these days have it easy. Having to work a little for your free plugins builds character. Why, I remember it like it was just yesterday when I had to guess the password to get this thing. My first attempt was “annihilate”, and then I asked ChatGPT for the correct answer. See, back then we weren’t afraid to put in some effort to hoard plugins, unlike modern-day snowflakes who get everything handed to them on a silver platter.
