NOTE: Based on the demos, I like the sounds of the vocalists better on this than SonarWorks VoiceID, which I own.
IK Multimedia, a leading innovator in music production technology, today announces the launch of the ReSing Session Singers Showcase, a new platform that allows producers, songwriters, and creators to elevate their music by hiring top session singers. The update also introduces 7 new professional ReSing models, expanding the growing catalog to 65 singers and instruments available for voice transformation.
ReSing is a leading voice replacement solution powered by ethical AI, delivering high-quality, professional results while ensuring the artists behind the voices are properly compensated. Anytime, anywhere, users can audition and hire the voice that inspires them through ReSing’s seamless Showcase interface.
Each singer is available through a Session, similar to a real studio collaboration. For a one-time fee, users can hire a specific voice for a limited project duration, with no subscriptions or automatic renewals. During a Session, music can be created, released, and distributed freely with full rights to the recordings—just like working with an actual session singer.
ReSing users worldwide who are singers and want to participate are encouraged to learn more at: www.ikmultimedia.com/joinresing

Burt it’s kind of like a subscription service, right? You pay for one month’s worth of usage?
Wow, I skipped right over that and that’s a very significant thing to miss. Hmmm….that’s what happens when I’m powering through a bunch of work on the site. I really just looked at the site quickly, saw Durga, watched two videos and wrongly thought the $39.99 price was for a perpetual license. Considering it’s just for a month rental, that changes everything.
With music being a hobby, I might spend 9 months on an original song before I finish it up (whereas, I’ve cranked out covers in a couple of hours). If I used, say Durga McBroom, Session for $40 or $50 — depending on whether or not it was on sale — and tweaked the parts over 5 different months, that would be as much as $250.
I would definitely need to change the way I work to have this make sense for me. So, yeah, my SonarWorks VoiceID voices don’t sound as good as the ones in the ReSing demos, but it is A LOT less expensive, as you are buying a perpetual license with VoiceID.
