Although there are a few nice new features, multiple transpose & hide unused pitches, I’m going to stay on the sidelines for this upgrade. I work primarily with midi instruments and very little with audio clips. Much of the upgrade appears to be directed toward beat making and audio clip manipulation. Also, the stem separation demonstration, while amazing, was far less than perfect. It sounded like there was a decent amount of audio junk left over in the background of each stem.

A review is here.
I find myself using stem separation and tempo detection quite a bit now-a-days when transcribing music for my classical guitar class. Those new features will be useful.
Has anyone seen a better price than $150? That’s not a “deal”, but the standard upgrade price, right?
I have a spare Artist product I haven’t registered yet. Can I still upgrade that for $100? Not sure I want to deal with 2 serial numbers, though.

well if that’s your plan, then with the money you have saved, and seeing as you are a bit midi orientated I would if I were you purchase ‘Harmony Wizard‘ Its a very professionally done add-on by a dude who has worked very close with PreSonus and has the inside running on things. It fits in with Studio One like a hand in a glove. $39.99 until November 1.requires version 6.6.1 or higher.
I did not know about Harmony Wizard. It looks very cool! Thanks!

FYI, BestService has Studio One Pro 7 Crossgrade for $120.83 which is cheaper than the upgrade price.

I am waiting for BF along with @Peter to see if they throw a belated bone to the holdouts. IIRC they did a release of V6 around October two years ago and followed up with a better BF offer. I am as much a sucker for DAWs as plug-ins. I keep jumping around. Bitwig hooked me in to burning my rainy-day upgrade-code in September when they gave the U-he filter toy away, but I haven’t even installed it (Bitwig) because it’s not on my current dance-card. 🎶
