I have the Sonokinetic Hurdy Gurdy and the Edu Prado Hurdy Gurdy. The Soniokinetic one was free, and I don’t find it very usable. I really like the Edo Prado Hurdy Gurdy. And yeah, I think I’ve probably picked up another one at Loot Audio too! Us sample library hoarders have a lot in common! This library does sound really good in the video the developer made (below).

That’s a quality we value here! Why did we go on tangents? Out of our love of hurdy gurdies and music. Personally, I love that. It shows passion for music. Long live our tangents! I can’t remember which developer produced the Hurdy Gurdy VST that I used to use on my old PC – it was a lite version so only had a very limited range of notes – but that worked to my advantage when the note for the tune I had written was too high for the lite version and it missed it out – it actually gave it a lovely syncopated feel which so much hurdy gurdy – and other folk music – has!
