Begs the question… what will the actual BF sale be???
The email this is from states that it is a bigger discount than they’ll have for Black Friday. It’s from an email for AD2 customers I received. I think that part is a smart strategy to get customers to act now and not hesitate because they anticipate a better deal on Black Friday.
As a marketing/branding strategist, I don’t think the deep discounting developers in this market do is a smart strategy. It trains the market to only buy during periods of deep discounting and that price becomes the perceived real value of their product. But the market is clearly in a period of great pricing changes.I got an email from Toontrack recently with a 20% off discount and it seemed ridiculously small.

I would have bought the custom collection for 68 Euros… Guess I’ll wait for the next offer.
I think the offer is still on. XLN does claim that this is a bigger discount than they’re going to have for Black Friday.
Also, that’s not an affiliate link. I just pulled it from my email. The only affiliate links I’ve posted so far are from Plugin Boutique and they’re always clearly marked.

It is, but it’s only for people who own AD2. Which I now do after spending a tenner at KnobCloud. But, alas, the custom collections are excluded from this offer.
Any recommendations? I’m looking at Dead & Dry, Breaks & Beats, Soul and R&B and Jazz Collections.

Aw, come on. We can’t have a functional democracy unless someone keeps our leaders in check. 😉
Apparently this is only valid for certain items. I couldn’t get it to work on MIDI paks, which are the only things I don’t have.
Studio One, Windows, RME UFX, Yamaha MSP7
It’s there in the copy in the screenshot (I’ll add it to my text in the OP), it only applies to AdPaks and curated collections.
