I still had 1 more ADPAk available from an ancient 3-for-1 bundle sale from way back. It still worked for this!
Studio One, Windows, RME UFX, Yamaha MSP7
But did you buy the MIDI too?

I’m waiting for their Black Friday sale, but I’m definitely getting this kit. Sounds real nice.

My patience actually worked out for once!
One thing is certain, when we’re patient, we almost always can get a better deal in this industry.
Since the AD2 updateI’ve been using it a lot more and created a couple of dozen new presets. The downside for me for AD2 was that I didn’t love how short the samples are, especially for the toms. They really don’t resonate very long compared to SD3 or even EZx kits. But there are some toms in AD2 that I like, and what I’ve done is swapped out all of the presets for the toms I don’t like with ones I like — using the option to swap out all of the toms at once — and now I find myself far happier with AD2. The ability to mix and match drums and cymbals makes a huge difference for me. That’s part of what I really appreciate about AD2 and SD3 that I don’t have with my Kontakt kits. I wish I could do that with say, the Abbey Road Drummer and other NI drum libraries, which I really like.
Your friend who keeps the beat. I suppose I'm also the chef at this place.
XLN blew me away with that free update, I hadn’t gotten around to spending quality time with Addictive Drum Stew.
Really cool way to stimulate interest in a venerable instrument. New look, new features, and free?
It got me to dive in with the plug-in, which is, of course, awesome. I suspect that people who hadn’t touched it in a while will fall in love with it all over again.
The packs that I chose were the Fairfax kit (apparently one of their more popular ones) and the one with the vintage drum machines.
