I am still trying to get a rhythm with the new forum but am very excited to see how much it has grown. I am cooking Thanksgiving for all of us this year so feel free to grab a slice of Thanksgiving Pizza!

Presonus forum…. ?? I have not used Studio One for a while, but I decided to drop in on their forum to catch up. I should have anticipated this…This morning my right wrist is in a lot of pain from tendinitis. No doubt from my spending far too much time on the computer posting deals. I’m using my phone and may not be posting any more deals today unless my tendinitis pain improves.

The mods over at the old place have been cleaning up posts with mentions/links to this board. I believe if you write the URL or the name normally, one’s post will be automatically withheld for mod action (= deletion). It’s quite the paranoid android over there.

@Kirean If someone told you this stuff and you didn’t know it first hand, it would be hard to believe. And still BandLab refuses to fix the more than a dozen times they had data breaches and exposed my real name on their site. Mark them down as incredibly unprofessional.

I’m not well-versed in nor really who who is who behind the scenes, but I guess the ban hammer might have come from upstairs. Yet all my years ‘online’ and going through forums/message boards in all kinds of fields, I really haven’t seen a platform ban all mentions to competitors (DAWs in this case) like that. Thanks. There are some things being worked on, so it’s only going to get better. But there’s been a lot of progress in the last 4 weeks. I would guess I’ve easily put 300 hours into this. Both of my kids, teenagers, hide their Spotify playlists from me. I’m told I get too “cringey” when I talk about music. Maybe thats why I appreciate this group so much! I find they like good songs from any period back to the 50’s across many genres/subgenres – rock, folk, rockabilly, pop, punk and so on. The dominance of Hip-Hop is waning and genres continue to blur resulting in some great new music arriving if you know how to find it.
