Some notes you’ll want to consider:
- Have a signed agreement in place. Saves headaches later on.
- Establish who did what. That determines the cut.
- If you’re collaborating with talent, you usually need a talent release.
- Establish how much each party will be getting paid. Distrokid has an easy way to divy profits to each collaborator.

As far as I’m aware, Maschine 2 doesn’t disappear. Much like e.g. previous versions of Kontakt, they stay in your library if you have them.
