Someone opted for the name ‘cosmic techno’. We’re getting there. Enjoy the music!

Gonna be honest here….I really really really enjoy the ambient synthesizer background and melody but don’t care for the “dance” aspect…I have never been a fan of Disco since day one and being old it ain’t gonna change 🙂

You ever decide to do a strictly electronic ambient piece I’ll listen all day!

A lot of demo stuff here- https://www.reverbnation.com/daylight

Well, I might be doing that as a side project. I really enjoy the break parts where it’s just synths but I do love me some drums too. So I don’t think the ‘dance’ aspect will ever change. But as I said, I have some things lined up which will give me some more oppertunities to explore the ambient side.

Check out some old Tangerine Dream like Phaedra and Rubycon! If you want to experiment with drums try mixing the electronic drums with some world percussion rhythms? If I didn’t like your material I wouldn’t be offering unsolicited advice 😉

You might have a couple of years on me, but I’ve heard of Tangerine Dream. I like the advice, so don’t let it stop you. Here’s what I do and envision: I recently bought 2 extra drummachines focused on live performance. World percussion is awesome when in production, especially with melodic techno. But live it just becomes something to fade in and out. I want more, more interaction.

Oh by the way, if you like Tangerine Dream, check out Redshift. Start with “Ether” and go from there if you like it.

(sorry for the later reply, been a bit busy).
