I forgot to say that I also get a lot of use out of the NI Session Guitar Acoustic packages.  I do play guitar but I haven’t been able to get a decent direct sound from my acoustic guitar.  These libraries solve that problem for me.

October is the new Black Friday.

Seriously, it seems I’ve run into more than a few articles from business sites that are saying this.  The main reason is most players are doing it earlier and earlier so you spend your money with them and so sad for the merchants who offer sales later on after everyone else is already tapped out.

That’s a shame.

I would have loved to have seen BFF but I only started getting into them as they were winding down.  “Brick” and “Battle of Who Could Care Less”  were the first songs of theirs I heard but weren’t really the songs that would have sold me on the band.

I actually like a lot of the Rigid Audio stuff, and artificial is not a problem because I typically don’t use their stuff for when I want natural sounds.  Their multis tend to spark ideas for me, and that sometimes that alone is worth the price of entry.

I like a lot of Sonic Couture stuff, but The Attic has a lot of clunkers in it.
