They seem to be as good as about most others, so long as you like the general tones they’re after, based on when I looked at them. I’m not an accomplished guitarist though. With code podcast20 you can get 2 bucks off more which makes it probably safe to try out. Just skip Starbucks tomorrow and let us kno…

Help me to name the official LinkedMusicians bear. Your suggestions are encouraged. No matter how terrible. (I have been bouncing name ideas off my wife and she says they’re all terrible, so now I feel like I need to make more and more terrible suggestions to make her laugh harder each time).
Please give it your best shot in the comments…Read More

I’ve turned to ChatGPT and the ideas are as ridiculous as the ones that made my wife laugh. Here’s some examples:
Bearoncé
Teddy Crescendo – Builds up the cute and the volume.
Mezzobearte – A pun on mezzo-forte, meaning moderately loud.
Bachbearato – Inspired by bel canto and Bach, with a hint of class.

I love that name @bluesdog. My concern is that it’s too close to Chuck Berry’s name that it would invite an action from Chuck Berry’s estate and Printify would likely reject it. So if we went with it, we would need to do a modification to make it more of a parody. Something like Churck Bearsly. But I absolutely love the name.

@antler How about Bearsa Major to go with the silly bear pun idea? Granted, yes, it’s ridiculously stupid — I want the name to be amusing. To be fun. To be a pun or a play on words related to music or an artist. Although it’s lame, an example would be Bearthoven.

Linkey?
It would be a tie-in with the name of the community. Oh well, that’s all I have for today. Keep posting ideas! I’ll do the same.

I actually wasn’t even thinking of Link Wray — hahaha. I was more inspired by Homer Simpson and his stupid naming of things and animals, like Stompy the elephant. But if we added a last name, I’d want it to really add something to the mix, and while I loved the ChatGPT suggestion of Shredward Van Huffen (ift gave me around 100 other suggestions,…Read More

Your friend who keeps the beat.
I like both the “LM” and “Vintage” designs so I got one of each (T-shirts). I’ll suck in my gut and post a photo once they arrive 😛
Please do snap a photo and share it! In fact, give me a heads up and I’ll creat…Read More

Do you metal guitarists think the Joey Sturgis amp sims are any good? 10 bucks (US) for this, certainly grabs your attention.

peter replied to the topic OFFICIAL LinkedMusicians Best Free Kontakt Instruments Updates Thread in the forum Sample Libraries & Plugin Instruments
I’ve added some new Kontakt sample libraries to the list. As always, I only add Kontakt instruments I find to be high quality. To be really candid, when I see other lists of Kontakt sample libraries, they’re often clearly thrown together to get search engine rankings, as there are libraries included that are in nowhere even close to the level of…Read More

First thing that popped into my head was “McCreary” (he grew up here). Local paper did a story on him as an aspiring composer in High School. He certainly made it.
